Started during the COVID-19 pandemic as a free virtual & in person mental health program to help adults & youth 16 years+ struggling with managing low moods, anxiety, stress, or any life issues they may be going through.

Our Mental Health Navigator now offers in person, one on one supports, cultural programming, peer support groups in a non-judgemental space for individuals to express what they are currently experiencing, and will assist in getting you connected to the most suitable resources within our community.

We also provide mental health presentations to partner agencies, businesses, industry and community groups.

Traditional Healing Garden
In 2022, as the knowledge of the impacts of Residential Schools on our communities became known to the mass public, we worked to create the Traditional Healing Garden.
The Traditional Healing Garden was designed to honour and remember the children who survived and for those who did not make it home. The garden is tended by our staff, volunteers, and seniors with the produce going to our Community Kitchen to help feed those in need. The garden is a space of both traditional plants, medicines and nourishment for our community.
Interested in how you can help our garden, please email Natascha at nataschaokimaw@gpfriendship.com
Limited Space Available.
Please email pikiskwetan@gmail.com to register.
